Who We Are
FSW is one of
Connecticut’s oldest and most comprehensive private,
nonprofit human services agencies, serving 23,000 clients,
touching the lives of 50,000 people across Connecticut each
year. We work with individuals and families to help them stabilize
their lives and identify their strengths so that they can
create brighter tomorrows. FSW is a national leader in helping
low income clients create personal and financial assets to
achieve self-sufficiency and create better futures for themselves,

Literacy Volunteers Fall Schedule Available--The
fall training schedule for volunteers interested in assisting
the Literacy Volunteers of Southeastern Fairfield County, an FSW
program, is now available. Click

Help
For Families Impacted By Child Sudden Death -- FSW
has teamed up with the Christian Meehan Hope Foundation for
SIDS to provide support for Fairfield County families that
lose a child to sudden death. Families can contact Hopeline
by calling the service's toll-free number. FSW is also looking
for volunteers interested in helping out with the service.
