Pequonnock Relocation Project continues to help nearly 200 families settle into new living situations following their relocation as a result of a Bridgeport redevelopment project.
Area residents who have either a Section-8 voucher or RAP/T-RAP certificate are given assistance to secure safe, affordable housing through the Mobility Counseling and Search Assistance Program (MCSA).
- Mobility counseling includes tenant education workshops
on life skills, tenant and landlord responsibilities, fair housing and
discrimination.
- Search assistance helps clients to identify and obtain places to live. FSW maintains close working relationships with landlords and housing contractors in order to keep available unit listings current.
