Our Services

FSW is made up of a variety of programs, all working towards one mission: to help create a healthy society by strengthening families and communities. Each of our programs and services strengthens families and communities in its own way:

  • an adult learner cultivates an ability and love for reading
  • a frail elderly man finds a place to go to make friends and stay active
  • a young couple learns how to build their financial assets, start a business and save for their first down payment for a home
  • a woman receives help dealing with an abusive spouse
  • parents learn techniques to successfully manage their children
  • a deaf person receives emergency interpreter services
  • a homebound individual receives a hot meal delivered to her door
  • a child uses art therapy to communicate feelings about trauma he can’t articulate.

FSW’s programs and services go beyond meeting immediate needs to help individuals and families develop the skills they need to prevent and head off future crises.

Our services are divided into the following areas: Deaf Outreach Services, Empowering People for Success, Fairfield Senior Center, Family Assets, LLC, Family Fare Program, HIV / AIDS Services, Homeplate Program, KidzPlate Program, Literacy Volunteers of SFC, Meals on Wheels Program, Mental Health Services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services and Youth Development Programs.

Please click on the program names for more information.
